Grand Bazaar, Istanbul, TR

For great shopping, It's Grand Bazaar (Kapalicarsi)
After the exhausting tour days it's time to destress and spend the remaining Turkish Lira and Euros.   Following the tram route, my colleague and I took a tram from Sultanahmet station to second stop - Beyazit Square.  It costs TL2 per token.  Each station are just so near to each other.   After shopping we just had to walk back to the hotel.

According to the history, this building has been constructed at the time of Mehmed II and enlarged during the reign of Suleyman II. Fire gutted the building in year 1700 and new bazaar was constructed of stone and bricks.  It is the same builing up to the present.

Here I bought sunglasses (3pcs) and shoes.   Bags and famous Turkish alcohol drink Yeni Raki at the opposite street.
