Aspendos, Antalya, TR

Aspendos is a preserved Roman theatre, situated on a plain near moutainous region of Eurymedon, east of Antalya, Turkey.  It is said to be one of the richest city of the antique age and famous for its theatre, which is also being used up to now.

The U shaped theatre have the capacity of 15,000 expectators.  The center is the stage.

A water system has been constructed after city gained wealth and progressed,  part of which is the water aqueduct.  Of course...pictures below seen no water, just ruins.
